Want a print, or to see more pictures? We've started adding links to ofoto where we backup, store and print all of our photos. Just click on MORE|PRINT by the description. The ofoto albums contain many more pictures, but there are no commentaries. If you want a print just follow the instructions at ofoto. We have made several and think they do a very good job.

Birds in the Bronx

Februrary 2002

This hawk has taken up residence in the median of Pelham Parkway, and we've been watching him hunt squirrels and rats for the past couple of months. We also installed a birdfeeder on our terrace and it's grown so popular that it's expanded into a feed trough.

Red Sox vs Yankees, and Cooperstown

September 2001

MORE|PRINT

Robby came out for his annual fall visit. We were hoping that the Yankees and the Red Sox would be locked in a neck-and-neck pennant race. It turned out that if things weren't decided before the first game, they certainly were by the time the last game was rained out and we headed to Cooperstown.

Natural History Museum

September 2001

MORE|PRINT

Melissa and Jan were interested in the "Genomic Revolution" special installation at the Natural History Museum so we all took a day off and headed into Manhattan.

MORE|PRINT

Just what exactly is there to see in NYC anyway? Dini Jim and Claire stopped by for a few days to find out, and we decided that the butterflies are one of the main attractions.

May 2001

MORE|PRINT

Robyn, Peanut, and David came out for a short week, or very long weekend. We burned up our metrocards seeing the Guggenheim, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, McSorley's Ale House, Stomp, Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Preserve, the Empire State Building, the Comedy Cellar and a bunch of restaurants.

Robby came out to visit in September and we saw a few sights, three ballparks and a half dozen games. I think the Yankees Red Sox was the highlight, but new Camden yards was pretty impressive too. This fall we are taking a road trip to Cooperstown when he comes out.

May 2000

MORE|PRINT

A bike seat gives a unique perspective on New York City, and there are, surprisingly, a number of bike tours where they block off the streets. This tour was a little over fourty miles long and wound through all five boroughs.
